How to Insert Links in Your Website

Links are an essential part of any website, allowing users to navigate pages, download files, or trigger actions like popups. While buttons are the most common way to add links, several other elements in the builder support linking.

1. Adding a Link to a Button

1. Select the button you want to link.
2. In the options toolbar, click on the link icon.
3. Choose one of the four available link types:

• URL – Directs users to an external website.
• Block – Creates a jump link to another section on the same page.
• Popup – Opens a custom popup when clicked.
• File Download – Allows users to download a file when they click the button.

1. If using a URL, enter the web address and choose whether it should:

• Open in a new tab.
• Be set as nofollow (for SEO purposes).

2. Linking to a Block (Jump Link)

1. In the link options, select Block.
2. A list of thumbnails representing each block on the page will appear.
3. Choose the block you want to link to.
4. Clicking the button will now take users directly to that section.

3. Linking to a Popup

1. Select Popup from the link options.
2. Choose or create a custom popup that will appear when the button is clicked.

4. Adding a File Download Link

1. Select File Download from the link options.
2. Upload the file you want users to download when they click the button.

5. Linking Other Elements

Apart from buttons, you can also add links to other elements:

• Columns – Select the column, and you’ll find the same link options in the toolbar.
• Images – Click on an image to add a link, just like a button.
• Text Elements:
• To link an entire text block, click inside it and apply the link.
• To link only part of the text, highlight the specific words and then add the link.

By using these different linking options, you can create a seamless and interactive user experience on your website.
